PETCO and OILCO

In this essay, I am going to compare and contrast two companies Petco and Oilco with regard to salary and benefits.

The most important consideration is money. The Oilco salary is 23,000dh a little more than Petco’s 21,500dh. furthermore Oilco gives a BMW but Petco gives a Nissan Sunny although with petrol. Both also pay school fees for three children. On the other hand, at Petco you stay in a company flat.However, at Oilco they only give you 5,000dh per month allowance.

Now lets us look at the benefits. Both have 35 days for vacation and good promotion prospects. In addition, at Petco you get your office and a secretary much more than Oilco where you share an office and secretary. They are similar in that they both offer service training, but you work six days per week at Oilco but only five days at Petco.

In conclusion, I think Petco is better than Oilco because at Oilco you work offshore.
